He is a result-driven and goal-oriented consultant with a proven track record when it comes to market studies, increasing exposure, branding, marketing, public relations, public affairs and activating (maritime) networks.

Having served leading maritime network organisations, trade associations, private companies and the public sector, Michiel has built up a strong network and developed a profound understanding of the (Dutch) maritime ecosystem, both valuable assets for connecting key players and networks and for aligning positions and interests in order to come up with creative strategic solutions that contribute to sustainable competitive advantage.

Michiel has held various (interim) management and advisory positions throughout his career and has firsthand experience with policy development in the Netherlands, Europe and the IMO.
