Webinar market developments in the superyacht sector
While some sectors are heavily hit by the corona crisis, others tend to flourish. The superyacht industry proves to be less vulnerable for economic downturn.
In order to provide additional insight, Rotterdam Maritime Services Community, Netherlands Maritime Technology, and Maritime Delta will organise a webinar on January 21, 2021.
During the webinar Marstrat partner Hein Velema will elaborate about challenges and opportunities the superyacht industry has to offer to the regional maritime cluster of Rotterdam.

Afterwards, Eddie Kloosterman – division manager Holland Yachting Group at NMT – will discuss the increased attention for sustainability among superyacht owners. It is key to understand how the Dutch maritime cluster can capitalise on these opportunities. Other speakers include Dennis Bravenboer (Hug Engineering) and Robert van der Tol (Water Revolution Foundation)
During a panel discussion industry experts will dive deeper into the refit market. Refits might be a smart and swift way to improve the sustainability of a vessel. Especially interesting for Dutch shipyards because they are already equipped for this kind of work.
